Wheel to Win 5K

Our passion is to create a 100% wheelchair accessible event raising funds for SCI research through Craig Hospital. Our vision is to see at least 100 participants on race day and raise a minimum of $5,000. Craig Hospital is a hospital that specializes in treating traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury. For the past 28 years, Craig has been in the Top Ten Rehab Hospitals by US News and World Report. My main goal is to create a wheelchair accessible event to show the spinal cord injury community that they can get out and still have SO MUCH FUN, even in a wheelchair! There are not any events in the Ozarks that are accessible for this community and our goal is to change that with the Wheel to Win 5K!

Packet pick-up will be on March 30th from 2pm-7pm at Fleet Feet Springfield!
Fleet Feet address: 1254 E Republic Rd.

Race day
Pre-race packet pick-up - 7:00 AM (at Willard Middle School)
Willard Middle School address: 205 Miller Rd.
Wheelchair loop race: 8:00 AM
5K race: 8:00 AM (after wheelies cross the start line)
Post-race grub - WHEN YOU FINISH! :)

Award Ceremony:
Awards will be given to winners once results have been calculated. Winners will receive a customized award along with 2 FREE raffle tickets!
The overall winner of the wheelchair loop will receive a FREE pair of gloves donated by Gloves for Life, LLC! ALL participants in the wheelchair loop will receive $10 off a pair of gloves with Gloves for Life, LLC!
The Raffle:
The raffle is made possible by multiple friends, families, and businesses who have donated items to raffle off to the participants and spectators!
